About Alisa Burnett

Alisa Burnett has been working as a lawyer for LHR Rechtsanwälte since May 2023.

She already supported the law firm as a student assistant at the beginning of her studies at the University of Cologne. As part of her legal clerkship at the Regional Court of Cologne, she worked in an internationally oriented commercial law firm in the fields of intellectual property and media law.

After completing her 2nd state examination in law at the beginning of 2021, she began her career as a lawyer in a renowned Cologne law firm in the field of product liability with a focus on the food industry, among others. During her work as a lawyer, she already gained extensive litigation experience. After subsequently working as a judge in a civil chamber of the Regional Court of Cologne, Alisa Burnett joined LHR as a lawyer.

Her main areas of practice are competition law as well as the law of expression and personality rights, with a particular focus on the online reputation of companies and all legal issues relating to advertising with online reviews.

Another focus of her advisory work is the Amazon platform. She advises and represents Amazon sellers who have been sanctioned by Amazon for a variety of reasons and helps them to enforce their rights quickly and effectively in the event of seller account suspensions or other restrictions on the platform that threaten their existence.
