About Karolin Fausak, LL.M.

Karolin Fausak has been working as a lawyer for LHR Rechtsanwälte since June 2022.

She studied law at the Georg-August University of Göttingen, specializing in "Private and Public Media Law". She then completed her legal traineeship at the Düsseldorf Regional Court, where she was able to gain further knowledge of copyright and media law as part of her legal traineeship at a specialist law firm in Cologne.

After completing her 2nd state examination in law in 2016, Karolin Fausak initially worked for a year as a legal advisor for the Fraunhofer Gesellschaft, the largest organization for applied research and development services in Europe, where she was responsible in particular for the conclusion of research and development contracts. She then completed a Master's degree in Intellectual Property Law at the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf, during which time she also worked as a research assistant in the intellectual property department of a renowned commercial law firm in Cologne. After her admission to the bar, Karolin Fausak joined the team of a renowned IP boutique specializing in patent law in Düsseldorf as an associate.

Karolin Fausak supports the LHR team primarily in handling cases relating to intellectual property and competition law.
